Description
The HHCP exists to improve health access and decrease health inequalities by building focus and capacity: Identifying the health needs of service users and improving awareness. Working with a multitude of services to raise the capacity of supported housing providers to support service users to improve their health outcomes through training, information and facilitating a range of health events. Creating toolkits and information sheets and directories, providing up to date best practice and easy access details of services in Westminster. Bespoke project work, evaluations and small-scale research to support addressing emerging health issues.

| Responsible Procurement - Technical Deliverables | For contracts of below £500,000 value, with services that deliver inherent social value and are likely to be delivered by smaller suppliers and/or those within the VCSE sector, the council has designed a social value approach that aims to maximise the impact our suppliers can make whilst minimising resources required. For many years, Westminster City Council has been working with suppliers, especially strategic partners to tailor our social value delivery to our communities. However, there are gaps in understanding the real-world circumstances and challenges within our communities. To bridge these gaps, the council deems the optimum social value output associated with this contract to be the contractor sharing insights on service user and/or wider community needs and contexts, with stakeholders who are committed to addressing those needs. Suppliers are therefore asked to deliver a total of at least 2 hours per year skilled volunteering to share such insights through meetings, presentations, workshops or similar, to stakeholders nominated by the council, or proposed by the contractor. Examples include: • Contributions to social value priorities documents (hyper-local priorities communicated to bidders as part of tender) Information sharing with strategic suppliers who are committed to delivering social value in contracts (grouped by sector) • Sharing data and trends on evolving community needs • Collaborative workshops to co-create social value solutions Please set out how you envisage delivering this social value approach or suggest an alternative approach that is over and above the service specifications, in addition to any other corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives you are currently implementing. |
