Description

Expression of Interest - Tender for Rebuilding of Grade II Listed Wall Contract Location: Kingston upon Thames Description: We invite expressions of interest from suitably qualified contractors for the rebuilding of a Grade II listed wall, including selective dismantling and reconstruction, in accordance with Listed Building Consent. The works will be carried out using lime mortar to ensure compliance with conservation requirements. Project Details: • Location: Kingston upon Thames • Wall Dimensions: Approx. 120 metres long, 3.5 metres high, 300mm wide • Materials: Traditional lime mortar and methods in line with heritage requirements • Scope of Work: Careful dismantling in some sections, conservation-led rebuilding, and all associated site works Contractor Requirements: • Must be Construction Line Gold accredited • All operatives must be willing to obtain BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) security clearance, which will require providing DBS clearance certificate less than six months old on contract award • Proven experience in heritage/conservation masonry works, particularly on listed structures
