Description

North Yorkshire Council (NYC) intend to award a contract for their Public Health Medicines Optimisation Advisory Service under Direct Award Process C of the Provider Selection Regime. The contract will be for 3 years with the option to extend for an additional 2 years (maximum 5 years). The contract start date is 1st March 2025.

Total Quantity or Scope

North Yorkshire Council intend to award a contract following Direct Award Process C for the provision of a Public Health Medicines Optimisation Advisory Service (PHMOAS). PHMOAS will provide up to date medicines advice and guidance to the Council, to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines across our services, and to support delivery of our statutory responsibilities. The contract will be for 3 years with the option to extend for an additional 2 years (maximum 5 years). The contract start date is 1st March 2025. The lifetime value of the contract will be £150,000 (£30,000 per annum).

The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to the Authority by 28th February 2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.
