Ammendments to Previous Notice

2. V13. Additional Information

This is a Corrigendum Notice to the Intended Approach Notice (Notice Number 2024/S 000-018481 | Notice Reference 2024-041747) which was published on the 14th June 2024 by NHS Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board (NHS MSE ICB) herein referred to as 'the Authority'. The Authority has taken a decision to conclude this Most Suitable Provider process and to not award a contract to a Lead Provider on behalf of the incumbent providers (the Provider Collaborative). This unfortunate decision has been made by all parties and results from over seven months of collaborative work between the Providers and the Authority. Ultimately the Parties were unable to identify a suitable collaborative solution to the Specification (Talking Therapies and Psychological Therapies for Severe Mental Health Problems) within the proposed financial envelope. The Authority will uphold its duty to secure suitable, technically capable Providers for the provision of Talking Therapies and Psychological Therapies for Severe Mental Health Problems (the Service) via a Competitive Process approach under the Provider Selection Regime 2023. The Authority will publish the appropriate Notices accordingly to communicate any future market engagement sessions and to communicate this competitive process opportunity to the market once final. This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) notice that this provider selection process has been abandoned and a contract has not been awarded. This process has been abandoned under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply.
