Description

As part of the development of fisheries management measures for inshore nature conservation Marine Protected Areas (NCMPAs), Special Areas of Conservation (SACs), Special Protection Areas (SPAs), the Scottish Government wishes to undertake assessments in relation to commercial fishing activity within the sites (“fisheries assessments"). The Scottish Government has already developed an approach to carrying out assessments which meet our requirements (discussed further below) and is seeking a contractor to undertake these assessments following the Scottish Government’s fisheries assessment guidance package.
