Description
Total Quantity or Scope
The GP Links contract provides message-based integration between secondary care applications and GP Practices in Wales. The solution procured replaced all previous secondary care to primary care GP Links solutions in Wales and it takes results from Welsh Laboratory Information Management System (“WLIMS”), Radiology Systems (“WRIS”) as well as Screening messages and Accident & Emergency letters from Cwm Taf and sends them to GP Practices across NHS Wales. In April 2021, DHCW received an urgent request for a new Vaccination Message dataflow to enable the transmission of Vaccine Messages from the BSO Vaccine Management System (“VMS”) and the DHCW Welsh Immunisation System (“WIS”) onto GP Practices. Vaccination is now part of our business-as-usual service offering, and therefore the Changes made in 2021 will need to remain active to ensure the flow of data from the WIS into the GP record is maintained for COVID, other vaccination programmes and ad-hoc requirements related to the flow of data into and from the GP systems suppliers. A further dataflow is also required to allow Flu, RSV, Pertussis, MMR and Shingles vaccinations recorded within WIS to flow into the EMIS GP System.
