Description
Following the successful completion of a Most Suitable Provider (MSP) process under the Provider Selection Regime 2023 (PSR 2023) Regulations, NHS Bristol, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) Integrated Care Board (ICB) (the "Commissioner") is intending to award a contract for the provision of Abortion Care Services. This follows a notice seeking expressions of interest (Notice reference: 2024/S 000-032079), published on 7th October 2024.
Total Quantity or Scope
The contract being awarded will commence on 1st April 2025 and will run for an initial term of 7 (seven) years, with an option to extend the contract for up to an additional 3 (three) years. The total contract value over the potential 10 (ten) year term will be £50,050,391 . This procurement has been carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioners. Additional information: The award decision makers for this process were NHS Bristol, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) Integrated Care Board (ICB). There were no declarations of conflict as part of this process. The Commissioner carried out an assessment that was in line with the criteria published in notice reference: 2024/S 000-032079. This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 18th December 2024 at midnight.
