Description

Supply of aviation fuel to Teesside International Airport Limited (TIAL), including Jet A1 fuel and Avgas fuel.

Total Quantity or Scope

Due to the continual growth of TIAL, the airport needs to secure its fuel supply and delivery with one or more suppliers for a period of three years with two possible one-year extensions thereafter. TIAL may look to secure, alongside the supplier awarded the contract, a supplier who could sit on a reserve list should the successful supplier not be able to meet the airport’s fuel requirements. TIAL purchase 2 types of aviation fuel which is delivered and stored in bunded tanks located within an on-site fuel farm: • 4 x 137,000 litre tanks holding Jet A1 fuel (used in larger aircrafts) • 1 x 36,000 litre tank holding Avgas fuel (used in GA Aircrafts) The scope of the contract will be for the supply and delivery of the airport’s aviation fuel for Jet A1 and Avgas. This supply must be in compliance with the Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) mandate.

Renewal Options

Two options to extend for 1 year respectively.
