Description
The Authority intends to award a number of framework agreements for Digital Specialist Suppliers across the SSE Group, these will be placed against eight defined lots, (Customer Channels and Data Integration x 3; Data and Analytics x 3; Enterprise Systems x 2 as described in the Procurement documents), with three frameworks awarded per lot. For the avoidance of doubt the resulting Frameworks will be made available to all of SSE Group .
Lot Division
1 | For Distribution -Customer Channels & Data Integration Provision of services and solutions: • to enable Authorities interaction with its customers and delivery partners through a predominantly digital channel. Such interactions may require access to data from either source systems, or the respective business unit’s data hub. • to develop business customer facing applications along with data integration and where necessary aggregation to support delivery of an effective and efficient collaborative experience. Typically, delivery will follow an Agile methodology, however other development approaches may be applied. Similarly, change may be delivered within a project, programme or portfolio construct. 2 | For Distribution -Data & Analytics Provision of services and solutions: • to build upon the already established Azure data lake, following a standards led approach to securely exposing sub-sets of that data to customers, business partners and internal teams. • to support the enriching of data sets from source systems using advanced analytics to maximise business value and performance. Typically, delivery will follow an Agile methodology, however other development approaches may be applied. Similarly, change may be delivered within a project, programme or portfolio construct. 3 | For Distribution - Enterprise Systems Provision of services and solutions: • to support the introduction and development of enterprise scale systems where economic do so, for example in areas such as Asset & Inventory Management and GIS. • to support those systems development, upgrade and integration ensuring maximum value is gained from those systems whilst following the Authority no/minimal customisations policy, Typically, delivery will follow an Agile methodology, however other development approaches may be applied.
